Krystal received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from VCU in 2011. After graduating she discovered her passion for ABA at a small school in Richmond, VA. Soon after she began pursuing her certificate in ABA from the Florida Institute of Technology. After practicing as a BCaBA for a year, she attended Arizona State University and earned her Master's in Special Education with a focus in ABA. Krystal has been a BCBA since 2016 and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Jessie attended JMU and received a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2016, then her M.A.T. in Inclusive Early Childhood Education in 2017. During her time in graduate school, she realized her passion was geared towards working 1:1 with children instead of the classroom. Jessie learned about a Behavior Specialist program that JMU offered, which she pursued and received her M.Ed. in Special Education with an ABA concentration in 2018. She became certified as a BCBA in August 2019.
Caitlin received an undergraduate degree in Child Development from Liberty University in 2016. She has always had a passion for working with children and finding the "uniqueness" in each child. It was not until starting a career in ABA that she found her calling. After earning her RBT certification in 2016, she went on to pursue an M.A in Applied Behavioral analysis from Ball State University in 2018. Following her degree completion, she became certified as a BCBA in 2019.
Kenna received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento and her graduate degree from National University. Kenna has been certified as a BCBA since 2008. She has been working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2003. Kenna has practiced behavior analysis in multiple states and overseas in Japan, becoming the first TriCare approved BCBA on the island of Okinawa. She plans to continue doing ABA for as long as possible.
Onai received an undergraduate degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech. Her love for teaching led her to the field of ABA; She received a graduate degree in Special Education with a concentration in ABA from George Mason University. Onai has been certified as a BCBA since 2019.
Kayleigh completed her Bachelor's at UMW in 2016. She began her career focusing on community outreach, parent training and small group therapy sessions. This is where she found her interest in ABA! During her five years of providing in home ABA, she completed her coursework to be a BCaBA and received her certificate in 2020. She decided to go back to school to get her masters and BCBA certificate in 2021 with Florida Institute of Technology.
Jess graduated from University of Mary Washington in 2017 with a B.S. in Psychology. She has since been in the field growing her passion for ABA. She is currently attending Capella University for a MS in ABA. In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband and daughters.
Jami started as an office manager at an alarm company in 1999 where she worked for 8 years. After leaving the alarm company in 2007 she worked as an editorial assistant at Army Times Publishing where she eventually moved up to office manager. She worked at Army Times for 13 years. Upon leaving Army Times she joined SEAS as the office manager in 2020. She loves greeting the kids every morning and is a truly valued member of the SEAS staff.
Lindsay graduated from Purdue University Global with a Bachelors of Science in Addiction in 2021. While earning her degree, her sister recommended she look into working as an RBT. Doing so, Lindsay found that she loves being able to be part of her kiddos' journeys and teaching them how to make their mark! After earning her bachelor’s degree, Lindsay is now working toward earning her Master's degree with the goal of becoming a BCBA.
Lauren attended NOVA community college where she started working towards their nursing program. During this time Lauren was an aide for a child on the spectrum and discovered her true passion, working with families and their children. She transferred to GMU, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2017. In 2019 Lauren became an RBT with the long term goal of becoming a BCBA. Lauren is currently working on a Masters degree in ABA from Ball State University.
Prior to entering the field of ABA, Khalyda was a restaurant manager, but was in search of something more fulfilling. She came across a post that said "make a difference while playing with children," and was introduced to behavior analysis. There was no turning back. Khalyda has since been in the field for over two years and says the most joyous things for her as an RBT are "getting a glimpse of the world through her client's eyes and helping nonverbal clients find their voice."
Cayla attended University of Mary Washington and received a degree in Psychology in 2021. Unsure of what she would do with the degree she was introduced to the field of ABA. As she fell in love with the study of behavioral science and how it has enriched children's lives, she became an RBT. Cayla is now attending Florida Institute of Technology and is expected to graduate with a certificate for her BCaBA in the near future.
Devin is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Devin was introduced to the ABA field in 2022 and adored everything about the field and the little ones. Devin plans to become a BCBA in the future. Devin enjoys trying different foods and traveling.
Ariela is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Sociology. Ariela has worked with children for 13 years and stumbled upon a job as a behavioral specialist at a Private Day School. She began to work toward her RBT certification and fell in love with the field of ABA. Ariela plans to become a BCBA in the future and believes her love for children comes from her grandmother, who owned an in home day care for many years where she was able to help a lot of children.
Myles received his undergraduate degree in Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience with a double major in Psychology from Virginia Tech. He previously worked with children as a camp counselor at Summertime day camp for 6 years and was introduced to the field of ABA in 2023. Since then, Myles has loved everything about the field, from learning about behavioral analysis to being able to use that knowledge to make a difference. Myles enjoys reading, trying new foods, listening to music.
Anna received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Radford University in 2022, as well as her M.A. in Human Factors Psychology from George Mason University in 2023. In May of 2022, she started as an behavior technician and shortly after becoming an RBT. Since then, she has loved working with children and making a difference in their daily lives. In her free time, Anna enjoys reading and listening to music.
Prior to becoming a RBT Morgan worked as a full time nanny for multiple families. She has always had a passion for kids but only had experience with neurotypical kiddos but once she was introduced to the field of ABA she developed a love for both neurotypical or neurodivergent kids alike. Morgan plans to continue to make a difference in the lives of adolescents all around the world and help them reach all of their goals to the best of her ability.
Shanna earned her degree in Psychology from the UMW in 2024. She has been involved in behavior analysis since 2019, including an internship at The New England Center for Children during her college years. She joined the SEAS team in 2021 and plans to continue her career there while pursuing further education. In her leisure time, Shanna enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
Liberty is SEAS' therapy dog! As the only four legged employee, she joins the team at the office a few days a week and enjoys helping the kids build their social skills, work on taking turns, asking to pet/play, accepting “no” and more! Her friendly Golden Retriever personality makes the clinic an even more lively place, and brings endless joy to the kids. On her work from home days and weekends, she loves to take naps by the window, get belly rubs, and go hiking.
